The Hobknobs are a duo composed of Yaël Dekker and Arie van Vliet, whose collaboration is described as a natural and self-possessed exploration of lofi and art-pop. Their music possesses an energetic nonchalance and honest economy, creating songs that feel like places to be. Based in the Netherlands, the group is presented by puschen & little league shows. As described by Karina Gill of the group Cindy, their sound avoids sentimentality while remaining both colloquial and cerebral, inviting the listener into their unique sonic and lyrical world.
