Romantso Club Night in Athens

THIS FRIDAY 13.09 DJ Lo-Fi, VLENNES , DJ Köd, and PADACZKA take over Romantso Club space for a night full of bass pressure and tricky grooves, without bpm and genre restrictions. DJ-LoFi One of the most prolific personas of the Athenian underground scene since the early 80s, DJ Lo-Fi (aka Lambros Tsamis, or RR Hearse) is a musician, performer, DJ, producer and writer. He has released two vinyl records, several cassettes, and has participated in various compilation releases. He has featured in the short film of Michalis Anastasiou, “Cirkle” (1988), has contributed writings to the local music press (“Pop & Rock,” “Sound & Hi-Fi,” “Jazz & Jazz,” “Lemon,” “Merlin’s Music Box” etc.), and has published two books, “Analipsis” (2017), and “Metamorphosis” (2020). You can find his latest digital release named RR Hearse:Hereafter (The Lost Demos 1983) on Neo Metal Sonic. DJ Köd DJ Köd is three humanoid mandrakes in a trench coat, a selector, and producer attracted to bass pressure and tricky grooves. Bpm and genre restrictions do not apply to his sets. He is a co-founder of the Budapest based rave crew Pénz with whom he has almost a decade long history of organizing and promoting legal, semi-legal and illegal raves. This Friday he's bringing a lot of spicy weirdness he rarely has an opportunity to play. Padaczka Padaczka is a solo project dedicated to deejaying and sometimes producing music. Vlennes Vlennes--label head of Athens based Neo Metal Sonic--started off as an electronic music nerd & bass music enthusiast. His love for these genres led him into the world of DJing & producing, where he maintained a passion for computers and electronics, externalizing it when desired. His club focused DJ sets vary from deep & atmospheric sounds to hyper-eccentric grooves, searching for a balance between them.
