Berlin Cool Jazz Project Live at Urania Berlin
A raw cool jazz night.
In 2026, Berlin-based drummer Michael Rowalska is once again bringing together well-known musicians from the Berlin jazz scene to revive the rarely performed, chamber-music-style swinging cool and West Coast jazz of the 1950s and give it a fresh, contemporary interpretation: in the Berlin Cool Jazz Project (BCJP). The band’s repertoire includes modern jazz classics such as Bernies Tune, Anthropology or Walkin, arrangements from the seminal Miles Davis album Birth of the Cool.
