Piuma presents Spirae with Son of Chi, Han Litz, and Axé at murmur Amsterdam
A slow-burn, underground field recording ambient night.
Piuma presents Spirae, a new concert series. Spirae unfolds through the act of intentional listening. It forms an invisible architecture of sound: reverberations, thuds, the dense strum of a guitar, entwined with distant, bending frequencies. Spirae responds to a technocentric culture of excess, to sound consumed through screens and clubs. It offers a pause and a shared focus. We sit together, we listen together, and we move inward together. Son Of Chi presents a live preview of his upcoming project Son Of Chi Sings, to be released after the summer of 2026. Ambient soundscapes, electronics, and classic songwriting unfold alongside trumpet work by Arthur Flink. Axé, a new project by Brian Fasano and Colin Wegman, moves through monotone and transcendental forms. Modular synthesis and prerecorded samples create a slow, steady field of sound. Han Litz, joined by percussionists Heiko Dijker and Sean Fasano, closes the evening. Flute and rhythm meet in an open, searching interplay grounded in long-form listening.
