Nathaniel Gumbs developed his musical skills by ear in his Baptist church in the Bronx, teaching himself the organ on Saturday nights. Currently serving as the Director of Chapel Music at Yale University, Gumbs is a dedicated advocate for traditional spirituals and works by Black composers. Experience his performance on the powerful 6,134-pipe organ at Walt Disney Concert Hall, where he brings a symphonic range of sound to life.
