An underground flamenco night.
Seffarine explores the diverse musical traditions of the Mediterranean, bringing centuries-old heritage to life in a contemporary performance. Named after a historic metalworking square in Fez, the ensemble bridges North Africa, southern Spain, and the Middle East by blending Arabic, Andalusian, flamenco, Persian, and West African influences. Led by vocalist Lamiae Naki and guitarist Nat Hulskamp, the group offers a rich tapestry of sound featuring mesmerizing vocals, flamenco guitar, oud, and percussion. This 70-minute concert celebrates the cultural exchanges that have shaped global music across borders.
