Gothenburg/Malmö-based post rock power trio Barrens return with Corpse Lights, the band’s second full-length release following their critically-acclaimed 2020 debut Penumbra. Five years in the making, Corpse Lights sees Barrens strike a breathtaking balance between light and dark; beauty and brutality; the calm and the chaos as the three fast friends refine their formidable command of composition and dynamic even further. Am Fost La Munte Si Mi-a Placut (I Went To The Mountains And I Liked It, also stylised as “AFLMSMP” or “Am Fost”) is a Romanian post-rock/ post-metal band consisting of five multi-instrumentalists. AFLMSMP has shown an inclination towards a barefaced, riff-led take on the post-genres, inviting comparisons with bands such as Pelican and Cloudkicker. The Altar of The Stag is a power trio that oscillates on the boundaries of Post Metal and Sludge. Following the release of their debut Visceral Offering in 2024, they have shared the stage with domestic and foreign artists and are preparing their upcoming work.
