The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra performs their weekly residency at the historic Village Vanguard. Established by Thad Jones and Mel Lewis in 1966, this world-renowned big band continues its decades-long tradition of premiering new works and performing classic arrangements in the heart of New York City.
