An underground expressionism night.
The Ensemble intercontemporain presents a musical gallery of portraits dedicated to female pioneers from the 20th century to today. The program features Galina Ustvolskaya's Dona nobis pacem (1971), a sincere and uncompromising work that transitions from aggression to peace. Olga Neuwirth, originally a trumpeter, performs her concerto ... miramondo multiplo ... (2006), which explores the transformative richness of the instrument's timbre. Sofia Avramidou's A Hug to Die (2022) takes inspiration from Martin McDonagh's The Pillowman, while Éliane Radigue contributes her instrumental monument to the ocean, Occam Océan.
