NAAR is a new event series exploring the meeting point between jazz and electronic music. This party captures the rigor and spirituality of jazz alongside the modernity of electronic music. For our second edition: Live: Monica Mussungo. Born in Angola and raised in Lisbon, Berlin-based singer-songwriter Monica Mussungo is known for her emotive performances, blending original material, covers, and jazz improvisation. She has collaborated with A Song For You and performed at festivals such as XJAZZ Festival. She will be playing a duo with the Cuban trumpeter Daniel El Congo Allen. Live: Aver (Move 78). Aver presents a new quartet featuring Matilde Squillante (bass), Andy Ptashka (trombone), and Nir Sabag (drums), moving from jazz and hip-hop into psychedelic, genre-bending territory. DJ set: Lily Haz (Foggy). Closing our night with a DJ set. Lily is a producer that delivers a bass-driven, genre-crossing DJ set, following recent releases on Flippen Disks.
