Formed during a fateful b4b at Amsterdam Pride in 2025, The Boyband is a DJ group comprised of Abiba (NL), BELLA (NL), Bertie (AU) and Yonic (UK). Four DJs in their own right with diverse and eclectic music tastes and backgrounds. Despite the name, these four femmes are drawn together by their love of driving groovers, high energy thumpers, percussive rhythms, and quintessential bangers, each DJ adds their own spice to the journey of the set. Abiba layers elements of broken beat, deep house and UK funk. While Bertie infuses disco motifs, chugging beats and hard groovers. BELLA brings elements of 90s nostalgia, acid and progressive sounds. And Yonic serves up UK bass, breakbeat, and garage. The result is an expansive, yet synergistic dancefloor experience with fresh and exciting twists and combinations you didn’t know you needed.
