An open-air impressionism night.
Pianist Lestari Scholtes and the Melisma Saxophone Quartet join forces for an energetic program featuring Gershwin's Cuban Overture, melodies from Porgy & Bess, and Weill's Threepenny Opera. The performance culminates in Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, reimagined for piano and saxophones. The afternoon also features Pianoduo Rosa & Glukhovskiy, a collaboration between Luís Bagina da Rosa and Matvey Glukhovskiy in partnership with the Pianoduo Festival Amsterdam. The duo, formed in 2024 at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, explores a wide range of repertoire from classical and romantic works to contemporary compositions.
