Volbeat will release their ninth studio album, God Of Angels Trust, on June 6 via Vertigo/Universal. The Danish band, consisting of Michael Poulsen (vocals, guitar), Jon Larsen (drums), and Kaspar Boye Larsen (bass), has deliberately abandoned traditional songwriting rules during the creative process, opting for a fresh and new approach. New album To celebrate the release of the new album, the band will perform two shows in the Netherlands. On October 22, they will play at Ahoy Rotterdam, with support from Wage War and Witch Fever. Volbeat was founded in Denmark in 2001 by Michael Poulsen. The band is known for their unique blend of heavy metal, rockabilly, and hard rock, influenced by artists such as Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and Metallica. Their breakthrough came in 2007 with the album Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil, which reached the number one spot on the Danish charts. Since then, Volbeat has achieved worldwide success with albums like Beyond Hell/Above Heaven (2010) and Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies (2013), featuring major hits and collaborations with artists such as King Diamond and Rob Caggiano. The band has scored multiple number-one hits on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.
