deBasement is an electronic pop duo formed by Alli Logout (singer from Los Angeles, known from Special Interest) and Margo XS (from Montreal's queer club scene). Blending club-focused energy with accessible yet defiant pop structures, their music explores themes of retreat and openness. The project's name references both the underground studio as a creative sanctuary and the 1989 Pixies song 'Debaser'.
