Dele Sosimi has been a pivotal figure in the global Afrobeat scene since relocating to the UK in 1995. Beginning his musical journey in his teens with Fela Kuti’s Egypt 80 and later co-founding Positive Force with Femi Kuti, he combines complex funk grooves, traditional Nigerian music, African percussion, and jazz with virtuosic keyboard playing and rhythmic vocals.
