Greg Spero's Spirit Fingers
Pianist Greg Spero brings his Spirit Fingers project, a boundary-pushing vision of future jazz fusion, back to Ronnie Scott’s. Conceived during Spero’s 2016 world tour with pop artist Halsey, the project emerged as a creative outlet for intricate compositions and fearless improvisation. Now featuring a London-based line-up including Lox, Ben Glasser, and Matt May, Spirit Fingers continues to evolve as a vibrant transatlantic collaboration. The performance draws from jazz fusion traditions while embracing elements of classical composition, soul, R&B, and contemporary pop, resulting in a technically dazzling celebration of the genre's potential future.
