Phono Club with Mr. Scruff

Phono Club is Phono Lake’s club tour, bringing our signature vibe to clubs all over. For our first Phono Club of the season, we’re handing the decks to a true selector’s selector: Mr. Scruff. Known for his marathon sets that glide effortlessly between soul, jazz, dub, house, hip-hop, and everything in between, Scruff embodies the art of deep listening and playful dancefloor storytelling. We’re starting extra early at 20:30 to make space for an extended 6+ hour journey by the Manchester-based selector, giving him the opportunity to showcase his vast record collection in all its broadness and beauty. Expect warm grooves, oddball gems, and that unmistakable sense of fun that’s made Mr. Scruff a beloved figure on dancefloors worldwide. Support will be provided by Cape St. Francis' Lil Lawaw, founder and resident of the Amsterdam-based record label and event series, who'll showcase his own groovy selections alongside some special guest appearances.
