Jeff Solo One of the most active figures that Rotterdam has to offer, Jeff Solo has been steadily working as a DJ, producer and event programmer for over a decade. With an extensive array of genres at his command, ranging from experimental and leftfield house & electronics to techno, slowbeat, wave, disco, boogie, and hip hop, Jeff is able to move crowds in any direction. In 2017, Jeff also co-founded Operator, an online community radio station that’s deeply rooted in Rotterdam. Operator focuses on the exploration of experimental music, arts & culture, with a genuine commitment to quality, love and a dedication to support emerging talent and engaging the local community. The main goal of Operator is the overall cultural & musical development through diverse initiatives such as radio broadcasts, workshops and curated events. Mowgli Rotterdam’s Mowgli blends the serrated edges of Chicago house, rough 90s techno, sleazy wave and unknown boogie and whatever leftfield curveballs that fit the mood. His sets pull from the friction between nostalgia and chaos, where synths hum, drum machines spit and tape hiss brings the fuzz.
