Toen Lahav Shani chef-dirigent werd in Rotterdam, kregen we er in één klap ook een pianosolist en ensemblespeler van wereldklasse bij. Zijn kamermuziek met musici uit ons eigen orkest – en, in haar seizoen als Artist in Residence, met Chen Reiss – tintelde elke keer opnieuw van puur speelplezier.
