Minimal Collective x Oude Kerk
Friday, October 10th, Minimal Collective and Oude Kerk join forces for a listening event where sound enters into dialogue with the identity of the location. For this occasion, the church of the Oude Kerk, Amsterdam’s oldest standing building, is approached as a resonating body – a living archive of sound and history. Visitors are invited to experience this 14th-century monument during a five-hour continuous listening session. The program will feature artists operating in the fields of electro-acoustic music, sound design, and research: Emika Elena (DJ), KMRU (Live), Loek Frey (Live), Perila (Live), and Richard Skelton (Live). Central to the experience is a custom sound system set up by Kantarion Sound, carefully tailored to the church’s acoustics.
