Pinkman x Mannequin x ADE
For this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event, Pinkman and Mannequin Records join forces for a night at Cinetol on October 24. Both labels have long carved out their own space in the underground, pushing a strain of electronics that is raw, unpolished and highly personal. This evening brings their worlds together in one room. Live performances come from Silver Tears, whose heavy, distorted take on industrial electronics sets the tone, and Alessandro Adriani, presenting his own dark and driving sound shaped by years at the helm of Mannequin. Behind the decks, Marsman, the founder of Pinkman, continues his reputation for razor-sharp selections, while Camy Huot completes the bill with a set that bridges experimental edges and club momentum. ADE always creates unusual combinations, but this one feels particularly natural. Both Pinkman and Mannequin operate on instinct rather than trend, connected by a love of music that sounds confrontational, futuristic and emotional in equal measure. Expect intensity, sweat and a room full of people tuned to the same frequency. Thursday, October 24, Cinetol — Pinkman x Mannequin x ADE. Graphics by AA
