Sonic Acts Biennial: Club NIght Garage Noord
night falls, the energy shifts. Known for its fearless and genre-bending approach, Sonic Acts continues its legacy with the Biennial club nights – unrestrained, amplified, and charged with collective energy. A space to move freely, where rave mutations and experimental electronica set the tone for something raw, playful, and alive. First up – find Sonic Acts Biennial at Bar San Francisco, following the opening of the Exhibition at W139, for a free-entry event with DJs Lucia Kagramanyan, Honey Jazz, and Mayss. Drop by for a drink, catch your breath, and tune into their impeccable selections. At Garage Noord – the revered venue just across the River IJ – a dusk-until-dawn showcase of concerts and DJ sets unfolds. This special event centres on vocal practices, spotlighting artists and turntablists working with rap, chanting, singing, and screaming, collapsing ritual into rhythm. Featuring acts such as Nick Klein (who presents the new work Baby You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet), a volatile collaboration between DJ DIE SOON and Rully Shabara of Senyawa, and an explosive performance by LINTD & Porter Brook. On the decks, DJ Bergsonist leads a high-intensity run of dancefloor-facing, voice-heavy tracks into the early hours, among many others.
