Foli Douman is an emerging international West African drumming and dance ensemble based in London. Their work brings together traditional rhythms and dance practices from Guinea, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, and Mali, combining live percussion, movement, and cultural storytelling in contemporary performance settings. Led by master percussionist Seydou, the ensemble's name translates to 'good music' in Bambara. The performances seek to honour the origins of these traditions while celebrating artistic collaboration and the continuing legacy of African diasporic arts.
