Rostam Batmanglij is an American songwriter, producer, and composer of Persian descent. He rose to fame as a member of Vampire Weekend, producing their first three albums and serving as a key multi-instrumentalist. Since leaving the band in 2016, he has developed a successful career working with major artists like Frank Ocean, Clairo, and Solange. In 2026, he will release his third solo album, American Stories, and perform a special concert at Bitterzoet in Amsterdam to support the release.
