BRUTUS NIGHTS: Vlad Dobrescu

One of Romania’s hip-hop veterans, Vlad Dobrescu aka VD is the founder of Facem Records, the first independent hip-hop label in Romania and a member of CTC band. Mainly snown as an MC and producer, Vlad is also one of the elite DJs of the genre, with hundreds of gigs in his portfolio, and the MIC Check show, where he selects the best tracks of the moment. His sets are mainly based on classic tracks, from reggae, soul and funk from the 70s, 80s disco and old school, '90s hip hop and r&b, all the way to contemporary styles. Vlad creates a journey through the history of urban music, from old to new, from rare songs to classics, mixed on the 2 turntables.
