Jeff Tweedy, the frontman of Wilco and co-founder of the alt-country group Uncle Tupelo, is widely recognized as one of the most significant and influential songwriters of his generation. Since launching Wilco in 1994, he has authored a prolific catalog of music across numerous albums, explored collaborative projects such as the Mermaid Avenue series with Billy Bragg, and worked on projects like the 2014 release Sukierae alongside his son, Spencer Tweedy. Beyond his work as a performer, Tweedy is an accomplished producer based in Chicago, having collaborated with artists ranging from Mavis Staples and Richard Thompson to Low. His performances continue to reflect his enduring reputation for artistic adventure and stylistic depth.
