Daniel Robert 'Danny' Elfman is a distinguished American composer, record producer, and actor from California, famously known as the lead singer of the rock band Oingo Boingo. He has become one of the most celebrated film and television composers of the modern era. His career in film scoring began in 1980 with 'Forbidden Zone' and flourished through a long-standing collaboration with director Tim Burton, scoring hits like 'Batman', 'Sleepy Hollow', and 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. Beyond film, Elfman composed the iconic theme for 'The Simpsons' and has worked on major blockbusters including 'Spider-Man 2', 'Milk', and 'Silver Linings Playbook'. His accolades include an Emmy, a Grammy, and multiple Academy Award nominations.
