She's in Control - Ilinca & Eligarf [RO]

The first concert in the She’s in Control series brings ILINCA and Eligarf together on the same stage, two artists whose musical worlds meet through a fusion of Balkan influences and pop-alternative sounds. ILINCA first gained recognition through her unique vocal technique—yodelling. In 2015, she reached the semifinals of Vocea României, and in 2017 she represented Romania at Eurovision, finishing 7th in the grand final in Kyiv. In 2025, ILINCA released the studio album Balkan Mama together with the band Gadjo Dilo, returning to her roots and exploring traditional influences reinterpreted in a contemporary way. Eligarf is an authentic and unapologetic artist whose music blends emotional honesty with a bold contemporary Balkan sound. With a distinctive Latin vocal tone, strong attitude, and deeply personal lyrics, she stands out as a fully independent creative force who writes all her songs and is often involved in their production. In 2025, Eligarf strengthened her position as one of the most dynamic artists in the Romanian scene. Her releases generated millions of views and strong engagement across platforms, with multiple singles trending on YouTube, TikTok, and Shazam. Tracks like Salman Khan, Terapeut, Recrut în dragoste, Vina, and Parfum de îmbrățișare confirmed her ability to connect organically with a rapidly growing audience. At the same time, her EP Vara Manelelor 2025 marked a defining creative statement. Rooted in Balkan influences and driven by emotion, vulnerability, and artistic freedom, Eligarf continues to evolve without compromise, building a strong community around her music and setting the tone for a new generation of artists who lead with honesty and creative control. She’s in Control is a series of four double bills that bring eight Romanian artists together on one stage, creating a space where music and their stories intersect and resonate.
