Luke Haines, a central figure in 90s British music, rose to fame with his band The Auteurs, whose Mercury Prize-nominated debut 'New Wave' is credited with helping launch Britpop. Beyond The Auteurs, Haines founded Baader Meinhoff and Black Box Recorder, achieving chart success with the single 'The Facts Of Life'. His career continues with a series of distinct solo albums alongside his work as a columnist and broadcaster for Boogaloo Radio.
