A nostalgic jazz night.
Award-winning, internationally acclaimed vocalist Emma Smith returns to Ronnie Scott’s with Doing It My Way, a new octet show celebrating the glamour and sophistication of the jazz and big band tradition. Joined by an all-star lineup of London’s finest jazz musicians, Smith expands her live sound with a horn section to bring fresh energy and cinematic scale to classics associated with Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and Mel Tormé. The performance features original music and arrangements by celebrated composer and trombonist Callum Au. Emma Smith has become a global jazz favourite following her critically acclaimed album Bitter Orange and performances at major venues including Birdland and the Royal Albert Hall.
