A celebration of Charlie Parker and the music that changed jazz forever. The London Supersax Project, created by saxophonist Alex Garnett, is an outstanding ensemble dedicated to celebrating Bird's enduring legacy through remarkable orchestrations of his original solos. Expect classic Parker repertoire including Cool Blues, Star Eyes, Lover Man, Salt Peanuts, Parker's Mood, A Night in Tunisia, and Moose the Mooche. The project draws inspiration from the original 1970s Supersax ensemble, bringing these iconic arrangements to a modern audience with an elite nine-piece line-up.
