A homegrown, underground house night.
An 8-week workshop series focused on unlocking the creative potential of Ableton Live. This hands-on course guides participants through sampling, sound design, looping, and drum programming to create original tracks and DJ edits. Each session includes a lecture followed by two hours of lab time, offering the opportunity to collaborate and test music on the club's sound system. The course is led by JP Solis, co-founder of Dubspot, and is hosted by the New York Record Club for the Advancement of the Arts. Attendees are encouraged to bring laptops with Ableton Live 12 Suite and headphones. While commitment to the full 8-week series is recommended, individual drop-ins are welcome.
