After Bob Mould shaped the future of rock with Hüsker Dü, he formed Sugar in 1991 with David Barbe and Malcolm Travis. Their 1992 debut album 'Copper Blue' became an instant classic, earning NME's Album of the Year for its melodic power and alternative hits like 'If I Can’t Change Your Mind'. The band released the darker 'Beaster' and the stylistically diverse 'File Under: Easy Listening' before disbanding in 1995. After three decades, the original trio reunited in June 2025 and released their first new music in thirty years, 'House Of Dead Memories'.
