SATURDAY, 13 JUNE PW x DEDANS DAVE HUISMANS (2562, A Made Up Sound, ex_libris, In Transit) COSMIN TRG A Made Up Sound, 2562, ex libris, In Transit: under his various guises, Dave Huismans has spent years dismantling the boundaries of electronic music, folding techno, broken beat, and raw bass music into something entirely his own. Dave joins long-time friend Cosmin TRG for a seismic session of DeDans. Sat. June 13th 2026 -- DeDans is the brainchild of curator Tina Cucu and Cosmin TRG. A series of friendly exchanges, transfers and encounters on the Bucharest-Berlin axis and beyond. At its core: dance music in its plurality of expressions, forms and functions. --- Dave Huismans (fka A Made Up Sound, 2562) is responsible for some of this century’s most notorious rhythmic advances, part of an influential body of work still resonating amongst the electronic music landscape today. After a long hiatus, he made an emphatic return in 2025 as ex_libris. Its first two installments (which sold out instantly), presented a new iteration to Dave’s sound; a wonderfully immersive strand of leftfield house and off-the-grid grooves, resulting in some of his most beloved work yet. His following venture was arguably his most surprising to date, a mini LP as In Transit for Fergus Jones’ FELT that’s been many years in the making. Containing a self-titled set of arresting downtempo vignettes, it’s an absorbing piece of music tangential to his previous work and significantly more experimental in nature. Both new aliases have marked a fascinating development to his already sprawling catalogue, continuing his singular sound with remarkable new expressions. Dave also returned to DJing in 2025, performing under his birth name and reviving his love for the artform he’s been practicing since the late 90’s. This was bookmarked by a two hour takeover of Ben UFO’s Hessle Audio show on Rinse FM, and co-curating a clubnight at Manchester’s The White Hotel. 2026 will also see him debut brand new livesets, presenting both ex_libris, In Transit material plus more across many venues and festivals throughout the year.
