Nothing and Haywire Live at SO36 Berlin
A gritty, underground shoegaze night.
Nothing have always been rule-breakers. Shoegaze renegades who’ve rebuilt the stereotypically lightweight genre in their own bloodyknuckled American image. Outlaw poets spilling existential dread on mile-wide canvasses of fuzz and reverb. A Short History of Decay, Nothing’s fifth solo album, provides the most hi-def rendering of the band to date. The album is a cataclysmic lashing of mechanized industrial-gaze and ornately morose arrangements. It serves as a final chapter of a story that began with their 2014 debut, Guilty of Everything. They'll be joined by Haywire, one of Boston's newer hardcore voices, whose sound combines raw drive with a fresh, modern edge.
