Shawn James

From the UP to the OZ, and now from the OZ to the MAX; Shawn James is slowly becoming a Melkweg staple. Born and raised in Chicago, James has his own unique sound that borrows from a variety of genres; from folk to blues, from gospel to rock, and everything in between. Everything he writes, he writes with emotion, feeling, heart, and a whole lot of soul. You might know him from his many covers, or perhaps from the song "Through the Valley," known from The Last of Us, among others. A magnificent voice, now to be admired in our largest hall.
