A nostalgic classical night.
The Orchestre de chambre de Paris celebrates Beethoven with the world premiere of a new piece by composer Simon Wills. Antigone, specially written for the bicentenary of Beethoven's death, explores the dramatic journey from darkness to light and engages in dialogue with Beethoven's Symphony No. 4. While the Beethoven work was composed during a period of personal struggle, it remains a piece filled with charm and vitality.
