The Kooks Live at AFAS Live Amsterdam

Indie rock band The Kooks will perform at AFAS Live in Amsterdam on Tuesday, February 17th. The Kooks launched their illustrious career in 2006 with the release of their debut album, "Inside In / Inside Out," featuring hits like "She Moves In Her Own Way," "Naive," and "You Don't Love Me." Their debut album defined indie music in the 2000s; their early releases established the sound of a specific zeitgeist. Nearly twenty years and a string of albums have passed since then, including The Kooks' latest effort, "Never/Know," released last May. "Never/Know," the seventh studio album from Luke Pritchard and his bandmates, was met with critical acclaim, achieving their highest chart position in 17 years. The album will be performed alongside classics from The Kooks on their upcoming tour. The Kooks continue to attract a new generation of fans with music that has developed into a distinct and recognizable style. Over the years, the foursome has experimented, moving from indie rock to synthpop and krautrock, but they still serve up unmistakable Britpop. In recent years, the Brits have headlined festivals and sold out shows around the world. The last time they performed their own show in the Netherlands was in 2023.
