Clinton Fearon is a Jamaican musician, songwriter, and composer who began his career as a bassist, singer, and lyricist for the legendary reggae band The Gladiators. At the age of 19, he joined the band and co-wrote classics such as Chatty Chatty Mouth, Richman Poorman, and Let Jah Be Praised. In addition to his work with The Gladiators, Fearon was a highly sought-after session musician, playing bass for renowned artists such as Yabby You, Jimmy Riley, and Max Romeo. He worked in iconic Jamaican studios like Studio One and Black Ark, where he created timeless basslines. With 13 albums to his name, he performs at major festivals worldwide, from the US and Canada to Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America. His music remains a vital part of the reggae scene, carrying deep messages and warm melodies. Fearon has collaborated with artists such as Alpha Blondy, Mike Love, and The Movement and continues to expand his musical influence. In 2024, he is set to release his third acoustic album, Survival Vibration, and will tour France with guitarist Kubix. With his poetic lyrics and inspiring music, Fearon touches a wide audience and stays true to his mission: spreading positivity and awareness through reggae.
