A nostalgic, underground classical night.
Grunewaldstraße 77A, 10823 Berlin
For 20 years, the Festival Orchester Berlin—a multicultural ensemble of musicians from leading European orchestras—has been delighting audiences with its repertoire spanning the Baroque, Viennese Classical, and Romantic periods. Performing on historic Italian instruments, the orchestra offers a remarkably beautiful sound. This New Year's Eve concert features various "Bachians" from within the ensemble presenting Bach's most beautiful works. The program also includes spirited pieces by Pachelbel and Grieg, as well as Mozart's Salzburg Symphonies. To conclude the second half of the evening, the orchestra rings in the year's end with "Winter" from Antonio Vivaldi's The Four Seasons.
