A high-energy, gritty riot grrrl night.
Bikini Kill was a pioneering feminist punk band originally formed in 1990 in Olympia, Washington, and Washington, D.C. The group, known for their confrontational live shows, political lyrics, and zines, played a central role in instigating the Riot Grrrl movement. Their music and activism encouraged women to start bands as a form of cultural resistance and sought to build a feminist community within the punk scene. Following their initial breakup in 1997, the band reunited in 2019, featuring core members Kathleen Hanna, Tobi Vail, and Kathi Wilcox, joined live by Erica Dawn Lyle.
