Bad Suns
The Californian rock band consists of singer and guitarist Christo Bowman, bassist Gavin Bennett, and drummer Miles Morris. In 2012, they made a name for themselves with their infectious teenage energy, packaged in a mix of indie rock and '80s synthesizers. But they're no longer teenagers. On their new album, "Accelerator," their first as a trio, they show they've grown up. Backed by energetic rock and danceable hooks, they sing about life lessons, fatherhood, and personal growth. Along with longtime producer Eric Palmquist, the band drew inspiration from '90s house music. Their familiar feel-good sound, made famous by the hit "Cardiac Arrest," has been given even more energy in new songs like "Communicating."
