DECOY isn’t just a party. It’s something we’re building together, with care, intention, and accountability. Right now, more than ever, it’s important to say this clearly: creating a safer space isn’t a slogan for us, it’s a responsibility we carry on and off the dancefloor. This space exists for freedom, expression, and connection, but none of that is possible without respect and consent at its core. No cameras. We ask you to be present. We operates a strict no photo and video policy. Your camera will be covered on entry, please respect that and keep it that way until you leave. This isn’t about restriction, it’s about trust. Anyone caught filming will be removed from the venue. Respect is non-negotiable There is no space here for any form of discrimination. No homophobia, transphobia, sexism, racism, ableism, or any behaviour that makes others feel unsafe or unwelcome. If that doesn’t align with you, this isn’t your space. Consent is the baseline Look out for one another. Respect personal space. Connection on the dance floor should always be mutual, unspoken or spoken, but always consensual. No doesn’t need explaining. NO MEANS NO SILENCE DOESN’T MEAN YES We’re here for you Our awareness team are present throughout the night, you’ll recognise them by their pink vests. They are here to support you, listen to you, and act if something doesn’t feel right. No judgment, no questions asked. If you feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or notice something off, please speak to them or any staff member immediately. Take care of yourself and each other Check in with your friends. Drink water. Know your limits. And if things feel overwhelming at any point, you won’t be alone, reach out. This only works if we all take part in it. This is a space for the dancers, the heads, the lovers, but most importantly, for those who respect the people around them. Let’s protect that together.
