Wise Fruit 12.0: Ocean Ma

After a three-year hiatus, Wise Fruit NYC returns for its 12th edition with Ocean Ma, an interdisciplinary evening of dance, live music, collaboration, and community. Curated by Brinda Guha, Ocean Ma explores water as a maternal force—forgiving, cleansing, nourishing, and accountable. The performance focuses on the feminine divine as a powerful force, inviting audiences to reflect on memory, ancestry, and environmental responsibility. The evening features performances by acclaimed choreographers and live musicians, including the Wise Fruit Live Collaboration Series where artists create original work together in just one rehearsal. As a fundraiser, net proceeds benefit a women-led organization dedicated to water stewardship and environmental justice.
