A nostalgic classical night.
In the summer of 1791, an anonymous messenger requested that Mozart compose a Requiem Mass. Already facing a demanding year, Mozart became deeply absorbed in the project. As his health began to fail, he felt he was writing his own funeral mass. Although Mozart passed away at 35 before finishing the score, his widow Constanze arranged for his students and colleagues to complete the masterpiece based on his sketches. This performance brings the legendary and mysterious work to life at Fairfield Halls.
