Songhoy Blues blend Malian traditions with desert blues and rock on their fourth album, Héritage. Based in Bamako after fleeing religious violence in northern Mali, the band enriches their traditional roots with instruments like kora, soku, kamalengoni, flutes, balafon, and calabash percussion.
