David Shaw And The Beat appear in Athens for the first time for a dark live performance blending goth punk vocals with minimalist acid house and new wave. Manchester-born David Shaw, an established producer known for his work with Siskid and DBFC, brings an incendiary energy that balances guitars, keyboards, and electronics. The night features a selection from his recent 'Love Songs With a Kick' albums, which explore and subvert pop songwriting through a punk lens. The event includes a DJ set by Driving in Reverse, featuring Pene (Radar/Reigning) and The Man From On High (Gerard Papasimakopoulos of Rattler Proxy), focusing on left-field dancefloor aesthetics and 70s-80s New York sounds.
