An underground ambient jazz night.
A familiar face on the London jazz scene, singer Fleur Stevenson is gifted with a honeyed vocal tone and a real grasp of the jazz idiom. Having developed her talent under Claire Martin, she has appeared at prestige venues including Ronnie Scott’s and released highly-regarded albums such as ‘Follow Me’ and ‘For All We Know’. For this show, she is joined by a standout trio featuring veteran saxophonist Art Themen, pianist Gareth Williams, and bassist Andy Crowdy. The performance features lively new arrangements of jazz favourites and lesser-known vintage songs, creating a sound that is warm, exciting, and spontaneous.
