This performance is part of their long-standing weekly residency in New York City, where the ensemble explores a vast repertoire ranging from Latin jazz classics to modern original compositions. Arturo O'Farrill is a Mexican-American musician and 6-time GRAMMY winner celebrated for his contributions to contemporary jazz and his leadership of the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra and the non-profit organization Belongó. His work often explores the intersection of Latin rhythms and modern jazz composition, earning him international acclaim as a performer and composer.
