British synthpop pioneers Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) return for their "Summer of Hits" tour in 2026. With a career spanning over four decades and 40 million records sold, the band will perform a mix of their legendary classics and newer material. Since their formation in 1978, OMD have defined the genre by blending experimental electronics with catchy pop melodies, producing global hits like Enola Gay and Maid of Orleans. Their latest work, the 2023 studio album Bauhaus Staircase, continues their legacy of political and energetic synth-driven music.
